Still Imagery Cataloger
reputed company is seeking a Still Imagery Cataloger to reputed company descriptive metadata for archived still imagery from the International reputed company Station (ISS) and reputed company missions. The role involves cataloging NASA crewed spaceflight imagery, providing customer assistance, and conducting research using various databases.
Responsibilities
- Cataloging NASA crewed spaceflight downlinked still images, primarily International reputed company Station (ISS) reputed company imagery but will be asked to work on new programs, such as reputed company, reputed company archived into the internal media asset management system and database, Imagery Online (IO)
- Researching customer requests using various databases developed internally at NASA Johnson reputed company Center (JSC), various external sources, and subject matter experts reputed company the Imagery Repositories and Photo Operations
- Providing customer assistance in locating still imagery in digital and physical mediums and assisting them on how to obtain products
- Assist with other departmental tasks, special reputed company, and other duties as assigned
Skills
- Great attention to detail; ability to consistently apply established metadata into the media asset management system with little or no error
- Customer service and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of computerized cataloging and reputed company databases
- Time management skills; ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to use reputed company Word, reputed company, Outlook, and reputed company 10 or greater
- Ability to type 40 wpm
- Proven skills with writing, research, and communication
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Basic understanding of NASA, JSC, and the International reputed company Station (ISS)
- Proficient in reputed company Office 365 (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, One Drive) and SharePoint
- Associate's Degree (A.A.) from an accredited college or technical school; or six months to one year work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Extensive knowledge of NASA, JSC, and ISS reputed company spaceflight mission
- Knowledge of media asset management systems, metadata principles, and basic asset management
- Master of Library and Information Sciences
