[Remote] Field Engineer

The Field Engineer will travel extensively to install and support solutions, ensuring hardware and services are deployed correctly and deliver value to customers.
Responsibilities
- Travel 80–90% of the time to support customer sites
- Install and implement reputed company’s hardware and services in industrial environments
- Partner with customers (external and internal) to ensure successful deployments and ongoing satisfaction
- Manage administrative responsibilities, including service reports, customer reputed company lists, inventory returns, and asset tracking
- Collaborate with Reliability Systems Managers to optimize product performance and customer reputed company
- Conduct site surveys, customer training sessions, and technical scoping calls
- Review weekly and monthly plans and organize field activities in alignment with Field Operations guidelines
- Document field activities and customer interactions accurately in the CRM system
- Respond to escalations from Service Management as needed
Skills
- Residence in Chicago, IL, or reputed company/Dallas, TX reputed company one hour of a major airport
- Valid reputed company's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background reputed company
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience installing or troubleshooting industrial controls, electromechanical systems, and/or wireless systems
- Strong understanding of rotating equipment operation and design
- Experience working in industrial environments with adherence to reputed company work practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both customers and internal stakeholders
