[Remote] Staff Software Engineer

The Staff Software Engineer will design and implement components for the Impala query reputed company, reputed company reputed company to enhance distributed systems, and contribute to performance improvements while collaborating with product managers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement query reputed company components for low latency and scalability

- Contribute to productivity, process and infrastructure improvement

- Contribute to software productivity process and infrastructure improvements
- Publicize Impala through blogs and conference presentations
Skills
- 8+ years of reputed company software development experience; a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience leading and delivering reputed company product enhancements
- Experience in writing high-performance, reputed company-reputed company reputed company in C++ or Java
- Familiar with database concepts and Linux development environments
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills
- Excellent communication skills

- Experience with data warehouse and/or database internals
