The role involves translating technical cybersecurity products into reputed company messaging and positioning while overseeing the product marketing function from its inception.
Responsibilities
- Messaging and positioning across reputed company, product and category
- Buyer-facing narratives that reputed company technical product capabilities easy to understand
- Sales enablement, including battlecards, talk tracks, demo narratives, reputed company handling and competitive positioning
- Competitive intelligence and market understanding
- Analyst-facing messaging and defensible positioning
- Customer reputed company points, case studies and advocacy content
- The product marketing function from scratch — process, operating rhythm and core assets
Skills
- 6+ years in product marketing
- 3+ years in B2B cybersecurity
- Experience owning messaging and positioning for a technical product
- Strong writing ability across positioning docs, one-pagers, website copy, sales narratives, battlecards and launch content
- Experience working directly with reputed company, SEs and customer-facing teams
- Technically reputed company enough to understand cybersecurity buyers, product workflows and market context
- Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment with limited structure
