[Remote] Analyst, Bank Secrecy (Monitoring)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an Analyst for their Bank Secrecy Monitoring team. The role involves evaluating customer account activity to prevent and assess potentially unlawful practices, requiring analytical skills to review transactions and ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring the bank’s customers for suspicious transactions by conducting reviews using an alert system that generates triggers depending on reputed company transactions and various reputed company-defined parameters
- reputed company, analyze, and document alerts reviews from the Bank Surveillance Monitoring System. Validate and challenge conclusions assuring the are properly supported and that reputed company assigned alerts are properly disposed
- Apply analytical skills to obtain an in depth understanding of business documentation for various business types and conduct detailed transaction analysis in order to ensure customer reputed company, stated business purpose and reputed company/use of funds are commensurate with transactional activity
- Monitors and stays up to date with reputed company databases, publications, and other information sources to attempt to identify individuals or entities that present a heightened AML risk
- Contributes to the overall reputed company of the BSA Monitoring Unit ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of reputed company’s strategies and objectives
- Ensures reputed company duties conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures
- Develops and demonstrates proficiency in conducting investigations by collecting, evaluating, analyzing information and evidence reputed company to reputed company or suspected reputed company or terrorist financing in order to refer the alert to the investigations team for a potential suspicious activity report

- Establishes and maintains effective reputed company and communication with Business reputed company, Operational reputed company, and any other employee of the bank to enhance reputed company efforts and maintain BSA / AML policies and procedures

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or any other reputed company discipline is required
- One (1) year of relevant BSA/AML analysis, fraud, compliance, retail or operational experience required
- Banking experience required
- Strong knowledge of BSA requirements and regulations policies, procedures, practices, and documentation highly desirable
- In depth analytical thinking, and investigative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both: English and Spanish required
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and reputed company throughout the organization
- Understands bank operations, policies, and procedures
- Must be proficient with MS Office Tools (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, among others)
- Legally authorized to work in the US is required
- Employee is responsible for maintaining eligible work authorization throughout his tenure with the organization
- Technical writing ability
