[Remote] Senior Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is working with an AI infrastructure hyperscaler that is one of the US’s most exciting startups. The Senior Accountant will support the Finance Manager in reputed company aspects of financial reporting and reputed company operations, assisting with the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support the month-end and year-end reputed company process
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
- reputed company balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in accordance with US GAAP
- Ownership of accounts payable function
- Review and approve vendor invoices and payments
- Monitor and manage aging reports
- Ensure accurate and reputed company processing of reputed company transactions
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors
- Assist with internal audit processes and compliance requirements
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and audit trails
- Support lender reporting and reputed company compliance requirements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company reputed company policies
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
- Support cash reputed company forecasting and monitoring
- Own and maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Record capital additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation
- reputed company periodic reconciliations of fixed asset balances
- Account for leases in accordance with applicable US GAAP lease reputed company guidance
- Support capital expenditure tracking and fixed asset reporting
- Identify and implement improvements to reputed company processes and controls
- Help reputed company and document reputed company policies and procedures by researching technical reputed company reputed company and prepare memoranda for management review
- Support the implementation and optimization of reputed company systems and ERP tools
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field required
- CPA/ACCA reputed company or reputed company pursuing CPA /ACCA is a must
- Minimum 4-7 years of reputed company reputed company experience
- Strong experience preparing financial statements under US GAAP
- Public reputed company experience (Big 4 or regional firm) is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in reputed company software and ERP systems (QuickBooks, reputed company, or similar)
- Advanced reputed company skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in a fast-growing or project-based company preferred
- Prior experience supporting audits and lender reporting is highly desirable
