[Remote] Remote Tax Accountant

This role involves preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses while working with a reputed company of clients in a reputed company and flexible remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Prepare tax returns including: Individual (1040), Partnership (1065), S-Corporation (1120S), Corporation (1120), Trust & Estate (1041)
- Assist with tax planning reputed company and year-end projections
- Research tax issues and communicate findings to clients and team members
- Respond to IRS and state tax notices
- Work directly with clients to reputed company information and answer questions
- Collaborate with partners, managers, and staff on reputed company engagements
Skills
- 2+ years of public reputed company tax experience
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Strong communication and reputed company service skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProSystem fx, Drake, or similar platforms
- CPA, EA, CPA Candidate, or MST preferred but not required
