[Remote] Tax Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is the reputed company-largest nonprofit, integrated health system in the reputed company, and they are seeking a Tax Accountant to join their reputed company Corporate - Tax Service department. The role involves preparing and filing sales and use tax returns, assisting with tax analysis, and coordinating federal and state audits while maintaining an effective system of internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and files sales and use tax returns for multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Prepares the annual sales and property tax exemption calculations and biennial tax exemption reports as required for the respective states
- Assists with compiling the necessary workpapers and documents used to prepare the federal and state income tax returns for reputed company system filings
- Responds to reputed company requests, analysis and special tax reputed company, as needed
- Assists with tax analysis of Alternative Investments
- Performs tax research and analysis and document positions taken to support tax treatment
- Monitors and assists with the calculation of tax depreciation
- Responsible for maintenance and monitoring the various reputed company sites and assists with reputed company notices and internal inquiries
- Assists with the coordination of federal and state audits, including income tax and sales and use tax audits

Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company or reputed company field
- Typically requires 2 years of experience in corporate tax or public reputed company
- Demonstrated ability to produce high reputed company results and reputed company assigned tax activities in an independent manner
- Self-motivated, results driven and detailed oriented
- Strong analytical and communications skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated proficiency with reputed company Office with an emphasis in reputed company
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a changing environment and manage multiple reputed company with short deadlines
- Knowledge of CCH ProSystems desired
