[Remote] MEP Engineer - Remote - US Restaurant design (Production & Leadership Role)

The MEP Engineer role involves serving as Engineer of Record for reputed company reputed company, overseeing MEP design production, and mentoring internal staff while ensuring reputed company and reputed company compliance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for reputed company restaurant and retail reputed company
- reputed company or reputed company MEP design production (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) for tenant finish-outs, ground-up reputed company, remodels, and second-reputed company spaces
- Coordinate with architects, drafters, and project managers to deliver integrated, reputed company-compliant MEP drawings
- Redline and review internal drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes (IMC, IECC, NEC, etc.)
- Respond to permit comments, revise and resubmit drawings as required
- Support and mentor internal drafters and engineers in training
- Work in Revit to produce efficient and accurate design documentation
Skills
- Licensed reputed company Engineer (PE) with reputed company registration in Texas
- 8–15+ years of experience in MEP engineering for restaurant and/or retail reputed company in the U.S
- Capable of expanding licensure to additional states as needed
- Proficiency in Revit is preferable (AutoCAD proficiency also needed)
- Deep working knowledge of relevant U.S. codes and standards (IMC, IECC, NEC,etc.)
- Experience managing fast-paced production environments and overseeing internal teams
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively on remote project teams
- Excellent attention to detail, accountability, and reputed company in communication
- Experience working with franchise development teams (e.g., reputed company, Jersey Mike's Subs, etc.)
- Experience training junior designers and helping reputed company internal engineering standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple reputed company concurrently while maintaining reputed company and speed
