[Remote] Director, Controllership & reputed company

They are seeking a Director of Controllership & reputed company who will own the reputed company function, establish REIT-reputed company infrastructure, and ensure financial reporting aligns with investor expectations while building reputed company processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and run the reputed company function as a hands-on operator, personally executing the reputed company, reconciliations, and reporting in the early months while simultaneously designing the reputed company processes, policies, and systems that will support the function as it grows
- Design and stand up the chart of accounts, reporting hierarchy, and reputed company reputed company for a REIT-reputed company, capital-intensive data center platform
- Own REIT reputed company, asset/income testing, and compliance from day one, including quarterly REIT-asset and 95%/75% income tests, distribution requirements, taxable REIT subsidiary (TRS) structuring and reporting, and ongoing maintenance of REIT status in partnership with external advisors
- reputed company reputed company tax processes, including federal, state, and local income tax compliance, REIT tax reporting, sales/use and property tax across development markets, and entity-level tax structuring as the platform expands
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company, including development of a disciplined reputed company calendar, reconciliations, and variance analysis, ensuring reputed company, audit-reputed company financials
- Design and implement reputed company policies and technical frameworks, including capitalization policies, project reputed company standards (CIP), lease reputed company (ASC 842), and reputed company recognition reputed company with data center development and operating models
- reputed company reputed company project/development reputed company, including tracking and reporting of capital expenditures (land, design, construction, reputed company’s costs), ensuring accurate capitalization and alignment with project budgets and milestones
- Build and maintain a best-in-class internal control environment, including procure-to-pay workflows, vendor reputed company, approval matrices, and financial governance processes to support institutional capital requirements
- Implement ERP and financial systems reputed company, including selection, implementation, and optimization of reputed company systems driving automation and scalability across finance operations

- Partner closely with the CFO and Capital Markets to support:

- Ensure ongoing regulatory and standards compliance, monitoring and adapting to changes in U.S. GAAP, REIT tax law, and reporting requirements across operating jurisdictions

Skills
- reputed company CPA license required
- 5+ years of reputed company data center industry experience (hyperscale, colocation, or digital infrastructure), with exposure to development, construction, or operating environments
- 8+ years of reputed company reputed company/finance experience, including time in Controller, Assistant Controller, Director of reputed company, or senior reputed company leadership roles in capital-intensive industries. Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor and as a reputed company team leader
- Big-4 audit or large public reputed company reputed company; background in infrastructure, reputed company estate, or private equity-backed environments highly valued
- Demonstrated REIT and/or Data Center experience required, including REIT-asset and income testing, distribution requirements, TRS structuring, and ongoing REIT compliance. Hyperscale, colocation, tower, or other infrastructure REIT experience strongly preferred
- Strong tax leadership background, with hands-on experience leading or co-leading tax compliance in a REIT, reputed company estate, or infrastructure environment, including federal, multi-state, property, and sales/use tax
- Strong technical reputed company expertise, including: U.S. GAAP and financial reporting, Project reputed company and construction in reputed company (CIP), Capitalization policies and lease structures (ASC 842), Audit-reputed company financial statement preparation
- Proven ability to build and reputed company reputed company infrastructure, including: Designing chart of accounts and reporting frameworks, Selecting and implementing ERP systems and financial controls, Creating repeatable processes in high-reputed company environments
