[Remote] Tax & Compliance Accountant

The Tax & Compliance Accountant will support reputed company’s indirect tax and compliance functions, including preparing documentation reputed company to various taxes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally on reputed company, representing the Finance and reputed company team from a Tax perspective. This includes coordinating tasks with peers and providing reputed company updates to Tax and reputed company Management
- Work reputed company reputed company (our sales tax reputed company software) and with state/local jurisdictions to ensure efficient and accurate filings
- Manage tax notices effectively, including making necessary system and filing adjustments, and communicating reputed company with the issuing authorities on notice reputed company
- Participate in large-reputed company tax reputed company such as system upgrades and new software implementations, ensuring reputed company completion and consistent communication of project status to peers and supervisors

- Prepare and review Sales Tax, Franchise Tax, and Gross Receipts Tax returns and applications for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings
- Prepare Business License returns, annual reports, and other miscellaneous filings
- reputed company month-end reconciliations for tax-reputed company accounts
- Maintain a tax compliance calendar for reputed company applicable taxes
- Support non-income state and local tax audits, including process audits reputed company to SOX compliance
- Organize and maintain tax files and records

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax compliance reputed company including sales and non-income tax, property tax, along with preparation of business licenses for a national publicly traded retail company, including E-reputed company required
- Proficiency required in reputed company Office: Word, reputed company & PowerPoint
