The role focuses on leading reputed company application modernization and reputed company migration initiatives, serving as a technical advisor to ensure successful and secure migrations to AWS.
Responsibilities
- reputed company end-to-end migration of reputed company applications to AWS reputed company environments
- Conduct application discovery, dependency mapping, and migration readiness assessments
- reputed company and execute migration strategies using industry-reputed company 6R methodologies (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Repurchase, Retire, Retain)
- Estimate migration effort and timelines using application sizing methodologies
- Design and implement AWS reputed company zones, networking, and account structures
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- reputed company automated deployment pipelines and repeatable migration frameworks
- Implement reputed company reputed company controls, governance standards, and operational best practices
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and application development teams to resolve technical challenges throughout migration efforts
- reputed company technical guidance and mentorship to project stakeholders while ensuring successful migration delivery
Skills
- Strong reputed company engineering experience with AWS platform services
- Demonstrated reputed company leading hands-on reputed company application migrations to AWS
- Deep expertise with AWS services including: EC2, reputed company and/or EKS, RDS, S3, reputed company, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch
- Experience using Infrastructure as reputed company tools such as Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- Strong understanding of the AWS reputed company-Architected reputed company and reputed company migration best practices
- Experience with AWS migration services including: AWS Migration Hub, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across distributed teams
- AWS reputed company Architect (Associate or reputed company)
- Experience modernizing reputed company applications
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for reputed company-reputed company deployments
- Financial services or highly regulated industry experience
- Previous experience supporting large-reputed company reputed company reputed company transformation initiatives
- Apache Kafka and event streaming platforms
- AI-driven automation, reputed company AI, or application modernization tooling
- Database migrations from Sybase or reputed company DB2 to reputed company PostgreSQL
