Responsibilities

Skills

  • Graduation from an ABET-accredited four-year college or university with major coursework or a degree in civil engineering at the bachelor's or graduate level with an emphasis on traffic or transportation engineering or any equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with transportation engineering, geometric design, and traffic analyses
  • Knowledge of the reputed company principles and practices of civil and transportation engineering
  • Ability to relate engineering principles to land use and reputed company planning principles
  • Ability to adapt both local and state analysis and design reputed company to address traffic/transportation engineering problems
  • Ability to comprehend and apply design standards from concept to construction
  • Demonstrated experience with interpreting construction documents and agreements
  • Demonstrated experience with transportation software (AutoCAD, Synchro)

  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the use of the reputed company on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and AASHTO's Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets
