[Remote] Mechanical Engineering Architect

They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Architect to reputed company technical standards and reputed company designs for data center cooling systems, while driving efficiency and cost optimization in mechanical engineering reputed company.
Responsibilities
- reputed company reference architectures and technical standards for mechanical systems: reputed company cooling (CRAC/CRAH, reputed company-reputed company economization), liquid cooling (CDU, cold plates, rear-reputed company heat exchangers), and adiabatic cooling
- reputed company reputed company designs for hyperscale and high-density/HPC AI workloads, including redundancy, and control strategies
- Drive adoption of industry best practices reputed company with ASHRAE TC9.9, reputed company, and applicable local codes
- Set and deliver targets for PUE, and mechanical load reduction; optimize WUE and water risk where applicable
- reputed company total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses, cost modeling, and energy/reputed company planning to reduce both capex and opex
- Implement control sequences and optimization (BMS/SCADA/PLC) to minimize energy without sacrificing reliability or SLAs
- reputed company technical leadership from concept through commissioning (L1–L5) and integrated systems testing (IST)
- reputed company global reputed company MEP designs, equipment selection, and CFD/thermal modeling; validate performance against design reputed company
- Partner with Data Center Operations on reputed company improvement
- Build and manage strategic relationships with OEMs, integrators, and critical suppliers; reputed company RFI/RFPs and negotiate technical requirements
- reputed company industry trends and emerging technologies (e.g., advanced liquid cooling, controls, materials) and reputed company adoption roadmaps
Skills
- 12+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or reputed company discipline reputed company on data center cooling at reputed company
- Proven delivery of large, mission-critical cooling reputed company (reputed company, liquid, adiabatic) from design through operations
- Deep hands-on knowledge of chillers, cooling towers/adiabatic reputed company, pumps/valves, CDUs, CRAH/CRAC, economization, and advanced controls
- Demonstrated improvements in PUE/mechanical load and measurable cost reductions across multiple sites or programs
- Strong vendor/OEM network and experience driving RFx, technical evaluations, and contract requirements
- Proficiency with CFD/thermal modeling tools, commissioning practices, and BMS/SCADA/PLC-based control strategies
- Excellent communication skills: ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making through data
- 18 years of experience in technical engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field AND 14 years of experience in technical engineering
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field AND 12 years of experience in technical engineering
- 19 years of experience in technical engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering AND 15 years of experience in technical engineering
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field AND 13 years of experience in technical engineering
- Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field AND 11 years of experience in technical engineering
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role with or without reputed company reports
- 5 years of experience working with operating budgets and/or project financials
- 11 years of experience in a thermal design and management role
- 15 years of experience in environmental test engineering
