Certified Medical Assistant - Family Care - Full-Time, Days

This full-time Certified Medical Assistant position is for the Family Care Clinic, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The role involves travel to surrounding clinics as needed (mileage reimbursement provided). Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process.
• Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.
• Obtains and records vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and reputed company medications and presenting problem.
• Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician.
• Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns to the reputed company Manager or reputed company provider(s).
• Ensures safety checklists/reputed company controls are completed as required.
• May reputed company other duties as assigned by reputed company Manager, more senior staff, or as requested by reputed company provider(s).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• reputed company - reputed company Medical Assistant Certification (required)
• Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills-reputed company 90 days of job entry (required)
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support Exception Quarterly 90 Days Upon Hire (required)
• Basic computer skills using medical management application systems
• Effectively communicate with staff and patients
• Thorough knowledge of the meaning and use of medical terminology and abbreviations
• Demonstrates reputed company judgement in emergency situations
• Takes appropriate reputed company in urgent circumstances
• Maintains a reputed company, customer-reputed company attitude toward staff and patients
• Possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism

• 1 year Medical Assistant experience (strongly preferred)
• Bilingual in English / Spanish (preferred)
