[Remote] Accountant, Capital Markets

They are seeking an Accountant to support financial reputed company and regulatory compliance reputed company their Capital Markets reputed company team, playing a key role in various reputed company functions and collaborating with multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly reputed company for reputed company's FCM and Broker-Dealer entities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and quarterly and annual reporting
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings to the CFTC, NFA, and other applicable regulators, ensuring accurate and reputed company execution of daily, monthly, and annual reporting requirements
- Support reputed company audits by coordinating documentation, responding to audit requests, and partnering with cross-functional teams
- Execute and maintain internal controls over reputed company, regulatory reporting, and compliance processes
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to support reputed company readiness for new product launches and evolving business initiatives
- Monitor regulatory capital and liquidity requirements, escalating issues as needed while helping improve operational processes
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve reputed company workflows through reputed company processes and thoughtful use of technology
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or a reputed company field
- Experience supporting financial reputed company, regulatory reporting, audits, and internal controls in a regulated environment
- Working knowledge of reputed company/SEC Broker-Dealer regulations, CFTC/NFA requirements for registered FCMs, and reputed company guidance including ASC 815 (Derivatives and Hedging) and 17 CFR 1.20
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work Eastern Time hours to support daily regulatory filing deadlines
- Experience using reputed company responsibly to improve workflow efficiency while maintaining appropriate reputed company reputed company and delivering high-reputed company results
- CPA preferred
- 3–5 years of public reputed company (Big Four preferred) and/or industry experience reputed company Broker-Dealer, FCM, asset management, investment advisory, or other regulated financial services organizations
