[Remote] Port Engineer

They are seeking a Port Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring vessels are technically fit to operate and managing maintenance schedules while minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company, manage, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate with shipyard, contractors, and vendors for repairs and dry-docking
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reputed company to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ensure vessels are in reputed company condition to meet operational schedules and mission requirements
  • Liaise with vessel chief engineers to address technical needs during missions and port calls
  • Conduct routine inspections to verify that vessels meet company and reputed company standards

  • A High School Diploma or a GED Certificate is required
  • Should be reputed company to lift to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 30 pounds
  • There will be local and international travel (including reputed company travel) up to 30%-40% of the time, with or without notice
