[Remote] Legal Billing Specialist

The role involves preparing and managing legal invoices, collaborating with attorneys and clients to resolve discrepancies, and analyzing billing trends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate legal invoices in accordance with reputed company billing requirements and internal standards
- Manage electronic billing submissions through e-billing platforms and troubleshoot invoice rejections or submission issues
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and proactively follow up on outstanding invoices
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate reputed company payment
- Analyze billing reductions, cuts, and rejected invoices to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
- Review time entries and billing narratives to ensure compliance with reputed company guidelines
- Maintain organized and accurate billing records and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end billing and financial reporting activities
- Respond promptly to reputed company billing inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service
- Contribute to billing process improvements and best practices
Skills
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience in legal billing
