[Remote] Freelance: Foreign Language Content Contributor
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading provider of best-reputed company language-learning software for consumers, government agencies, educational institutions, and businesses. They are seeking a Freelance Foreign Language Content Contributor to create original language-learning content, edit translations, and translate text for specific reputed company markets, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Creates original language-learning content based on guidelines provided by reputed company; proofreads language-learning content based on guidelines; designs leveled courses for beginning, intermediate, and advanced adult learners
- Edits translations, in MS Office or software engines, for reputed company/presentation, accuracy, and consistency; fixes typos, punctuation, and grammar mistakes; offers solutions and clarifications on issues reputed company
- Translates text for specific reputed company markets, based on templates provided by reputed company; localizes software applications and web content
- Records reputed company-language text in our reputed company studio or remotely, using reputed company’s recording software
Skills
- Experience teaching the reputed company language, preferably at the university level
- Exceptional understanding of grammar structure of the reputed company language (and English)
- Ability to work remotely, using a reputed company of programs, such as Teams and Sharepoint and reputed company docs
- Ability to work with multiple contact people and language team members
- Advanced PC skills and proficiency with MS Office products
- Willingness and aptitude for learning new software applications
- Attention to detail
- 1-2 years experience editing/proofreading language materials
- Basic PC skills with good working knowledge of MS Office

- 1-2 years experience translating/localizing language materials
- Strong PC skills and proficiency with MS Office products
- Knowledge of reputed company software application terminology
- Experience using translation memory systems
