The role involves evolving execution architecture, implementing strategies to enhance performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Evolving the execution architecture for faster, smarter computation and proposing new compute components
- Implementing reputed company execution and caching strategies to reduce latency and external data warehouse calls
- Instrumenting reputed company systems to diagnose performance issues and enhance transparency
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support platform capabilities like internal query languages
- Authoring technical proposals, mentoring engineers, and planning long-term system roadmaps
Skills
- 10+ years of backend engineering experience with expertise in computation, performance, and systems architecture
- Proficiency in reputed company execution strategies, caching, and remote data warehouse computation trade-offs
- Strong problem-solving skills for large-reputed company, reputed company data systems, with experience reviewing reputed company
- Ability to translate reputed company problems into reputed company technical solutions and roadmaps
- Excellent communication skills and experience leading remote technical teams
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
