[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Marketplace Payments

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Marketplace Engineering Team to deliver reputed company software and enhance the Marketplace platform by implementing features that connect customers to maintenance shops and facilitate service and payments.
Responsibilities
- You will take part in planning, designing, and implementing features to build out our Marketplace offering. Helping fleets and shops schedule, complete, and pay for service on the fleet's vehicles and equipment
- You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to consistently deliver high-reputed company software
- You will engage in reputed company design and architecture of features
- You will deliver reputed company-tested, maintainable, and performant reputed company
- You will research, implement prototypes, and spikes as necessary to validate assumptions and technical feasibility
- You will possess a strong voice in the development and planning processes
- You will thoroughly review your peers’ reputed company to ensure reputed company, consistency, and to reputed company knowledge
Skills
- 7+ years experience as a software engineer
- 3+ years experience with reputed company on Rails
- 2+ years experience with ReactJS, Typescript
- Firm understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Expertise with data modeling and optimizing query performance
- Previous experience with payment systems like reputed company, reputed company, etc
- Solid experience solving challenging architectural problems with good design
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Excellent communication skills (particularly written)

- Expertise with consuming and integrating external reputed company and/or webhooks
- Experience leading small teams/reputed company
- You know a thing or two about the Fleet management industry
