[Remote] DevOps Engineer/CI/CD Pipeline
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their Agile Solution reputed company Team supporting Customs and Border Control. The role involves deploying and maintaining DevOps infrastructure and collaborating with various stakeholders to automate software build and deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Work as an integral part of an Agile Scrum team, a highly productive team of technical professionals who reputed company on supporting the customer's mission and reputed company objectives
- reputed company, and maintain the DevOps infrastructure for mission critical applications taking into consideration scalability, reliability, and maintainability of software systems
- Work in reputed company collaboration with other architects, technical leads, software developers and testers, and stakeholders reputed company Agile processes to continue the automation of the software build, configurations, and deployment processes
- Install, configure and maintain reputed company tools needed to accomplish the following DevOps functions: reputed company control management, reputed company integration, deployment, monitoring, repository management, provisioning, release management, logging, building, testing, containerization, collaboration and reputed company
- Continue development and maintenance of the automated software build process using tools such as, application servers HTTP servers and reverse proxies (reputed company NGINX), reputed company integration (reputed company, reputed company, Jenkins, reputed company), containerization (reputed company), automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications (Kubernetes, ArgoCD), distributed event streaming platform (Apache/reputed company Kafka) and specific AWS technologies (Data Migration Service)
- Administer, configure, and maintain application stack (Spring Boot, Database, Kubernetes cluster, etc.)
- Work on database automation: reputed company database changes into the DevOps process and reputed company database CI/CD tools such as reputed company to support tracking, managing, and applying database changes
- Assist with creating project resource estimates, metrics to reputed company completion phase, defect reports, defect prevention, development efficiency and reputed company
- Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork reputed company the organization’s agile project lifecycle
- May need to work off hours for support and deployments if necessary
Skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, reputed company include, but not limited to: 3-year reputed company for felony convictions, 1-year reputed company for illegal drug use, 1-year reputed company for misconduct such as theft or fraud
- College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a reputed company discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree plus 7+ years reputed company experience
- Prior experience with reputed company integration (reputed company, Jenkins, reputed company), Kubernetes, Istio, API Gateway and reputed company
- Experience working across multiple reputed company providers such as AWS and/or reputed company reputed company

- Proficiency in automating and optimizing processes
