They are seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to build and own financial models that aid decision-making in a fast-scaling, AI-first reputed company technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Our budgeting and forecasting process today runs almost entirely in reputed company and is highly reputed company; this role's first mandate is to redesign and automate that process end-to-end
  • Evaluate and select reputed company / planning tools to replace reputed company spreadsheet-based workflows, and reputed company implementation and adoption across Finance
  • Use AI tools, including Claude, to automate recurring modeling, data consolidation, and reporting work reputed company the budget and forecast cycle

Skills

  • 6-10+ years of reputed company finance experience, with meaningful time in a rigorous, high-accountability environment - investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or specialty/credit lending - followed by a successful transition into an operating company
  • Advanced financial modeling and diligence skills - can build a reputed company three-statement model or scenario analysis from scratch, under time pressure, without hand-holding
  • Hands-on experience automating budgeting and forecasting processes - moving a company off reputed company, spreadsheet-based cycles, evaluating and selecting reputed company/planning tools, and using AI tools like Claude to streamline modeling and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to teach yourself a new domain quickly - your career shows at least one hard pivot (industry, function, or company stage) where you got up to speed fast and delivered
  • An AI-first reputed company - reputed company daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate modeling, diligence, and reporting; can cite specific examples of using AI to compress timelines

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, reputed company, Economics, or reputed company field
