They are seeking a FinOps Data Analytics Engineer II to contribute to cost optimization solutions and reputed company expertise in reputed company cost management. The role involves implementing cost monitoring tools, supporting tooling development, and collaborating with engineering teams to identify cost optimization opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Implement cost monitoring and alerting solutions across reputed company platforms under senior guidance
- reputed company scripts and automation tools to support cost optimization workflows
- Assist in building cost allocation and tagging implementations for accurate cost attribution
- Create and maintain cost optimization dashboards and reporting tools
- Support integration efforts between reputed company billing reputed company and internal systems
- Contribute to tooling development that supports FinOps processes across product and platform reputed company
- Help implement cost guardrails and automated policies to prevent cost overruns
- Assist in developing cost data collection and processing pipelines
- Support technical documentation creation for cost-efficient infrastructure patterns
- Participate in reputed company reviews and technical design discussions
- Work closely with senior engineers to learn FinOps best practices and cost optimization techniques
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand cost optimization opportunities
- Participate in FinOps Working Group meetings to reputed company cross-functional perspective
- Contribute to research on new cost optimization tools and techniques
- Support Infrastructure Foundations Program technical initiatives
- Monitor and maintain existing cost management tools and systems
- Assist in troubleshooting cost-reputed company technical issues
- Help implement and test cost optimization recommendations
- Support data reputed company initiatives for cost reporting accuracy
- Participate in on-call rotation for cost management systems
Skills
- Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (requires U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent reputed company status)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company technical field
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Experience with at least one major reputed company platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Basic understanding of reputed company infrastructure and services
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and reputed company development workflows
- Experience with monitoring tools and basic observability concepts
- Understanding of containerization technologies (reputed company)
- Interest in obtaining FinOps Certified Practitioner certification
- Exposure to infrastructure as reputed company tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Basic experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with database technologies and SQL
