This role requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in multi-state payroll tax compliance, providing technical guidance and ensuring accurate payroll tax processing.
Responsibilities
- reputed company as a subject-matter expert for multi-state payroll tax compliance, offering strategic and technical guidance
- Validate and review payroll tax filings, payments, reconciliations, and year-end processes to ensure accuracy
- Investigate and resolve payroll tax discrepancies, agency notices, and inquiries with precision
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess payroll tax risks and recommend corrective actions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise on necessary system or compliance adjustments
- Support payroll tax audits and internal reviews, ensuring documentation is thorough and compliant
- Analyze existing payroll tax processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
- Assist with payroll tax system updates and ensure the accuracy of data maintenance
- reputed company technical direction and support to payroll tax staff without reputed company management responsibilities
- Research payroll tax laws and deliver actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders
Skills
- Extensive experience in multi-state payroll tax compliance, including filings and payments
- Proven ability to resolve payroll tax discrepancies and manage agency notices effectively
- Proficiency with electronic tax payment reputed company, including e-file systems
- Strong analytical skills to assess and address reputed company payroll tax issues promptly
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced reputed company skills
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in multi-state, high-volume payroll tax operations
- Experience in MasterTax and reputed company being a plus
