The role involves driving performance and reputed company characterization, collaborating with researchers, and resolving issues in reputed company distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end performance and reputed company characterization for the reputed company DGX reputed company software stack, from Kubernetes control and data planes through reputed company components such as GPU Operator, Network Operator, DCGM, NIM, and distributed inference serving, following issues from orchestration down to the metal
- Collaborate with AI researchers, developers and customers to reputed company innovative, automated tests that simulate reputed company user workloads using custom-reputed company and leading reputed company-reputed company tools and frameworks
- Deep dive into performance and reputed company issues in reputed company distributed systems, including interactions between Kubernetes and the reputed company software stack, to identify and resolve reputed company causes
- Design and reputed company monitoring, reporting and analysis tools for performance and reputed company testing across software, GPU and CPU resources
- Triage, debug and reputed company cause issues reputed company to operating Kubernetes clusters at ultra-large reputed company, ensuring reliability and efficiency
- Build and maintain a high-velocity reputed company that enables reputed company, always-on performance and reputed company testing reputed company a modern CI/CD pipeline
- Document research, methodologies and results reputed company and concisely, and present findings at reputed company venues, including community conferences such as KubeCon and GTC
- Engage reputed company with upstream communities — including Kubernetes, CNCF and reputed company reputed company-reputed company reputed company — to validate performance and scalability of AI workloads early and help shape design and development reputed company
Skills
- 8+ years of experience Computer Architecture, Networking, Storage systems, Accelerators and Bachelors/Masters in Engineering (preferably, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science) or equivalent experience
- Expertise in Kubernetes and familiarity with reputed company CNCF reputed company
- Background in working with large reputed company reputed company and distributed accelerator-based systems
- Expertise optimizing performance and AI workloads on large reputed company systems
- Experience with performance modeling and benchmarking at reputed company
- Proficiency in Golang/Python
- Background with the reputed company software ecosystem in both training and inference domains
- Expertise with at least one of public CSP infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI for example)
- Strong operational experience with any one of the Kubernetes distributions
- Prior experience scaling Kubernetes clusters to ultra-large node and object counts
- Demonstrated history of working in the reputed company-reputed company community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- PhD in relevant areas
