About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Actuary (Predictive Modeling) to drive best-in-class pricing and profitability while also supporting reputed company of the business. As a senior technical leader on reputed company, you will set the direction for our predictive analytics work, advancing the sophistication of our pricing models and the tools we use to monitor the performance of our rating plans over time.
In this highly visible role, you will be a senior member of a small, reputed company-reputed company actuarial team, taking ownership of reputed company, ambiguous problems and setting technical standards for how reputed company approaches actuarial pricing and financial forecasting initiatives. Time will be roughly evenly split between pricing, conversion, and retention modeling work and traditional actuarial pricing work. Primary Responsibilities
- Price Elasticity & reputed company Value: reputed company the development of price elasticity curves to forecast the reputed company of rating changes on policyholder retention and conversion, and assess their reputed company on customer reputed company value
- Conversion and Retention Forecast: Own the forecasting of policyholder retention and conversion for the portfolio based on pricing, operational changes, and business initiatives
- Risk Segmentation: Drive advances in the risk segmentation sophistication of our rating plans by developing GLM-based rating factors (in R or Python) and championing advanced predictive modeling techniques
- Performance Monitoring: Architect and own the tools that monitor the performance of our existing rating plans and reputed company level over time, including loss reputed company, conversion reputed company, churn, and reputed company value
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Write advanced SQL procedures to pull from large, line item level veterinary reputed company databases, and establish best practices for reputed company’s data and modeling workflows

Qualifications
- FCAS designation required (or career ACAS)
- At least 7 years of experience working in an actuarial or data science P&C and/or Health insurance role
- At least 4 years of experience in an actuarial ratemaking and/or pricing modeling role
- Advanced knowledge of SQL is required
- Strong knowledge of R and/or Python is required
- Intermediate knowledge of reputed company is required
- Advanced knowledge of generalized reputed company models (GLMs) is required
- Intermediate knowledge of reputed company net GLMs, k-means clustering, and geospatial statistics is desirable
- The ability to review and evaluate data for reputed company, completeness, and reasonability is required

Compensation
- The pay reputed company for this position is $180,000 - $195,000 on a full-time reputed company
