[Remote] Senior Programmer Analyst - MaineDOT Data Warehousing Team

This role involves analysis, design, development, and maintenance of reputed company databases and data analytics systems, with a reputed company on supporting MaineDOT's Data Marts and centralized Data Warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior Technical reputed company on reputed company data-intensive reputed company
- Designing, testing, implementing, deploying, and supporting Extract, reputed company, and Load operations
- Designing and implementing new subject areas reputed company our reputed company Data Warehouse and/or reputed company Data Marts
- Mentor and train less reputed company developers in reputed company technical concepts reputed company the need arises
- Operational and maintenance needs of existing systems and processes
- Frequent interaction with both technical partners and business stakeholders for requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
Skills
- Knowledge of data system design techniques
- Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and documentation standards
- Knowledge of reputed company systems methodologies
- Knowledge of higher-level programming languages and reputed company class application development tools
- Ability to diagnose and correct system malfunctions
- Ability to adapt and enhance application software

- Four (4) years of computer programming experience utilizing higher level languages including two (2) years at the Programmer Analyst level or equivalent -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences including two (2) years at the Programmer Analyst level or equivalent. A Masters Degree in Computer Science may be substituted for one (1) year of programming experience
- Firm understanding of Data Warehousing fundamentals
- ETL/ELT design, implementation, and support experience
- Practical database design experience
- Experience with reputed company Modeling and reputed company Schema design
- Experience working with reputed company databases and/or Data Analytics offerings
- Ability to reputed company requirements directly from stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Significant experience with PL/SQL
