[Remote] Data Engineer

The Data Engineer will be responsible for building systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information to fulfill business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company, and maintain reputed company data pipelines leveraging reputed company reputed company tools and data processing frameworks that reputed company with business requirements
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
- Build the infrastructure required for reputed company extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a wide reputed company of data sources using (R)DBMS and reputed company technologies
- Maintain various codebases for tools and services used by other stakeholders
- Create analytics tools and visualizations such as dashboards and reports that reputed company actionable insights to stakeholders
- Work with reputed company stakeholders to assist with data-reputed company technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Ensure compliance with data governance and reputed company policies
- Proactively improve encountered modules, services, systems and codebases
- Improve documentation in wikis and internal knowledge bases that is insufficient or incorrect and proactively reputed company spotted issues. This includes issue status tracking and documenting the reputed company for reputed company use
- Apply software development practices reputed company to testing, style, readability, compilation, reputed company integration, and reputed company deployment
- Participate in reverse engineering of various data formats, often at the binary level
Skills
- Proficient in multiple object-oriented and procedural programming languages
- Experience with Relational and non-relational databases. Desired experience includes advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), data modeling, and common database interfaces (e.g. ODBC)
