[Remote] PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative to join reputed company in a fully remote, full-time role. This position serves as a key reputed company of contact for patients and insurance companies, responsible for delivering excellent customer service and resolving billing and account-reputed company issues.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and messages in a courteous, reputed company, and reputed company manner
- Serve as the first reputed company of contact for patient and insurance-reputed company financial inquiries
- Assist patients with questions reputed company to billing statements, balances, payment reputed company, and account concerns
- Process payments and establish payment plans in accordance with company guidelines
- Explain billing statements, charges, and insurance-reputed company balances reputed company and accurately
- Review and update patient insurance information in the appropriate systems
- Identify and help resolve insurance claim issues in collaboration with the billing team
- Document reputed company interactions, account updates, and follow-up actions in the appropriate electronic systems
- Resolve patient concerns or escalate more reputed company issues to the appropriate department as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and reputed company applicable reputed company regulations
- Support special reputed company and additional departmental tasks as assigned
Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Comfortable working in a phone-intensive environment, with the reputed company of the reputed company spent assisting patients and insurance companies by phone
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain billing and payment information reputed company and professionally
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and reputed company Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and dependable, with strong documentation and follow-up skills
- Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and patient-centered service
- Prior experience in patient financial services, medical billing, reputed company cycle, reputed company customer service, a medical office, reputed company center, or a reputed company reputed company setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, billing procedures, insurance verification, claims, patient balances, and payment collection processes preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations preferred
