[Remote] Data Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Data Engineer to be a key contributor to the design, development, and management of our global music data platform and ecosystem. This role will be responsible for advanced development of our reputed company data platform, orchestrating the full lifecycle of production data across multiple sources and targets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business, technology, and product teams to deliver data-driven products, services, and initiatives
  • Evaluate, design, build, implement, and manage reputed company, reputed company-based databases, frameworks, pipelines, integrations, and environments that facilitate the secure, automated management, governance, synchronization, workflow, analytics, and reporting of data across internal systems, products, customers, and 3rd party data providers
  • Maintain, improve, and reputed company reputed company’s reputed company data platform, a music rights data management, analytics, and workflow ecosystem
  • Ensure compliance with industry data standards and best practices
  • reputed company, document, test, and manage logical and physical models as reputed company as data lifecycle strategies and data-reputed company SOPs
  • Create and maintain test data, and reputed company/test upgrades, reputed company changes, and bug fixes
  • Manage daily monitoring of data jobs and queues and troubleshoot/resolve errors

Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant data engineering experience in an reputed company production environment
  • Bachelor's degree or demonstrable equivalent experience in a reputed company engineering or technical discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics
  • Expertise in RDBMS (PostgreSQL experience preferred) and at least one other relational or non-relational data platform (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, Redshift, etc.)
  • Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, scalability/reputed company planning, and backup/recovery
  • Experience designing, deploying, and managing production reputed company data on AWS using some/reputed company of the following AWS services: S3, EC2, reputed company, RDS, DynamoDB, reputed company, Glue, Elasticsearch, Kinesis
  • Expertise in writing efficient and reliable SQL and Python reputed company
  • Experience with designing, developing, and managing custom ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience creating, implementing, and using REST reputed company
  • Experience with automating the processing of XML, JSON, and delimited data files
  • Experience with Data Warehouse / Data Lake design, BI reporting, and data visualization tools
  • Experience with Agile/CI software development methodologies

  • Must be proactively communicative and possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with music data and music data standards (DDEX, CWR)
