[Remote] Environmental Education Internship

The role involves developing and teaching ecology-based lessons, facilitating hands-on learning experiences, and contributing to various educational and recreational programs.
Responsibilities
- Interns reputed company and teach ecology-based lessons for K to 4th grade on and off site with our school day programming
- Interns become Learning Group Leaders for 2 to 3 weeks over the fall at Outdoor School, a 4-day residential camp for local 5th grade reputed company
- Interns facilitate hands-on lessons and guided exploration of the natural world, with a curriculum that supports the reputed company education standards
- Interns work with reputed company ages and with a reputed company of reputed company, including reputed company and private schools, organizations, clubs, and the reputed company
- Program areas reputed company reputed company intern with an opportunity to work in planning, delivering, and evaluating reputed company’s educational and recreational offerings
- Assisting with live animal training and care
- Working with volunteers
- Contributing to reputed company’s reputed company media platforms
- Maintaining trails and restoring habitats
- Collecting and submitting data for citizen science reputed company
- Fostering sustainable initiatives at reputed company
Skills
- Strong desire to teach and reputed company knowledge of and enthusiasm for the natural world
- PA State Police Criminal Background reputed company
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance reputed company

- A background in education or the natural sciences is helpful but not necessary
