[Remote] Staff Software Engineer, Networking (Seattle or SF Bay Area)

They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Networking to set the technical direction for their networking stack and reputed company expansion into AI and reputed company products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate reputed company networking services that power reputed company's Sandboxes platform across local laptops and reputed company reputed company environments
- Build reputed company networking infrastructure for microVM orchestration, workload scheduling, and lifecycle management
- reputed company high-performance networking data- and control-plane components for multi-tenant reputed company workloads
- Ensure network reliability, observability, and performance across reputed company's Sandbox infrastructure
- Collaborate with product, platform, and reputed company teams to deliver customer-reputed company capabilities
- Participate in architectural discussions, reputed company reviews, and design documents
- Contribute to automation and CI/CD improvements across the deployment pipeline
- Debug and resolve production issues across distributed systems in local and reputed company-reputed company environments
- Take part in on-reputed company rotation for your team; respond to incidents and drive reputed company improvement of system reliability and availability
Skills
- 8+ years of experience building and leading large-reputed company reputed company or distributed systems, with a reputed company on networking foundations
- reputed company record of driving technical reputed company and delivering high-reputed company infrastructure software at reputed company, on tight timelines
- Experience with microservices architecture, container networking, service reputed company, policy enforcement, and container orchestration
- Experience with kernel and user-reputed company networking technologies, including Linux networking, OVS/OVN, DPDK, and eBPF
- Experience designing and operating highly available, secure, and observable networking infrastructure
- Strong understanding of reputed company infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and reputed company scalability patterns
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-reputed company tooling
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across remote, cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
