[Remote] Staff Platform Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a reputed company-reputed company Series B company building a financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S. They are seeking a visionary Staff Platform Engineer to design and build a robust Internal Developer Platform that enhances the developer experience and supports advanced automation. This role will be integral in evolving the infrastructure and ensuring operational reputed company as reputed company scales.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage high-availability, reputed company infrastructure using Kubernetes and reputed company-reputed company services to support reputed company's reputed company-reputed company
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling to minimize developer friction, enabling seamless deployment cycles from development to production
- Implement robust observability, reputed company standards, and cost-optimization strategies across the entire infrastructure ecosystem
- reputed company technical mentorship to senior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of high standards, rigorous reputed company reviews, and proactive documentation
- Define and evangelize best practices for infrastructure-as-reputed company and platform standards across reputed company engineering squads, ensuring consistency and long-term maintainability
- Partner with the AI/Data teams to design reputed company pipelines for LLM model deployment, serving, and monitoring, ensuring our 'AI-powered chatbot' remains performant and cost-effective at reputed company
- Own the long-term technical roadmap for the Internal Developer Platform, balancing the immediate need for speed with the management of technical debt to prevent reputed company bottlenecks
- Collaborate directly with Product and Product Engineering leadership to reputed company infrastructure automations with business goals, ensuring the platform is always a facilitator and enabler for fast development and experimentation
Skills
- Deep experience deploying and customizing developer portals like reputed company or reputed company to create a seamless, self-service environment that accelerates time-to-market
- Deep expertise in reputed company Architecture (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, Networking, and reputed company alongside 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Expertise with implementing unit testing on Terraform, Helmcharts with Terratest
- Exceptional expertise in golang and deep knowledge of System Architecture
- Proven ability to drive architectural reputed company, solve reputed company operational bottlenecks, and reputed company engineering teams through platform innovation
- Exceptional ability to communicate reputed company technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (Product/Leadership) and drive reputed company across engineering squads
- A documented reputed company record of growing senior and mid-level engineers, not just reputed company reputed company reviews but through architectural guidance and cultural influence
