The Staff Specialty Operations Pharmacist applies clinical and operational knowledge to ensure effective and compliant processing of specialty medication prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and/or provider offices from reputed company Specialty Pharmacy.You will receive inbound phone calls and talk with providers, patients and teammates to solve clinical and/or escalated issues including drug interactions, therapy regimens and medication stability.
Main Responsibilities:
Receive inbound phone calls from patients and providers to review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness of therapy.

Required Qualifications
Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (Bachelor of Science or PharmD).

Proficient in computers and comfortable trouble-shooting technology issues.

Hours:

Monday-Friday 8 a.m-11 p.m. EST and Saturday 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EST.
Position Shift(s):
10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Eastern Time (EST) or 11:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. EST (If located in reputed company) and rotating Saturday coverage.
1 or 2 closing shifts of 2:30 p.m.- 11 p.m. EST per week.
Holiday shifts are rotated based on business operational hours and coverage needs.
Overtime may be available and is communicated by leadership – Overtime may be voluntary or mandatory based on business needs.
