The Network Implementation Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of managed network services for customers, as defined by customer sales orders. This role focuses on hands-on execution of customer implementations, including design validation, configuration, deployment, migration, and activation of network services.

What does a day in the life as a Network Implementation Engineer (SD-WAN) look like?

• Deliver end-to-end implementation of customer network services, including firewalls, SD-WAN, switching, wireless, and WAN connectivity.
• Manage and execute multiple reputed company customer implementation reputed company, balancing priorities, timelines, and customer communication.
• Configure, reputed company, and reputed company reputed company Meraki and/or reputed company-based solutions in accordance with approved designs.
• Implement Arista VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions as required.
• Coordinate remotely with customer IT staff and reputed company field technicians to complete on-site activities.
• Execute network migrations and cutovers with minimal customer disruption.
• reputed company troubleshooting during implementation and assist with issue reputed company.
• Maintain accurate implementation documentation required for transition to Support.

What are the required qualifications of a Network Implementation Engineer (SD-WAN)?

• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing reputed company reputed company in customer-facing environments.
• Strong hands-on implementation experience with at least one of the following platforms: reputed company Meraki (MX firewalls, Meraki SD-WAN, MS switches, MR reputed company points) or reputed company FortiGate firewalls and FortiSD-WAN
• Experience implementing customer networks in production, customer-facing environments
• Ability to independently execute customer implementations with minimal reputed company
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple simultaneous network implementation reputed company.
• Strong practical experience with reputed company Meraki and/or reputed company platforms.
• Solid understanding of L2/L3 networking, WAN architectures, and SD-WAN concepts.
• Experience working with U.S.-based customers or in globally distributed teams.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to reputed company quickly and operate with limited reputed company time.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with both Meraki and reputed company platforms
• Exposure to Arista VeloCloud SD-WAN
• Experience working in multi-vendor reputed company network environments

• Cradlepoint LTE / 5G routers

Network:

• IPv4 / IPv6 addressing, subnetting, and NAT (including port translation)
• VLANs, Layer 2 switching, and spanning tree (STP/RSTP/MST)
• Layer 3 routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP)
• VPN technologies (IPSec configuration and troubleshooting)
