This includes preparing patients and the examination rooms; taking initial medical history for the chart, taking vital signs, making lab and x-ray appointments, and explaining the preparations to the patients. Assist physician(s) in reputed company special procedures, including minor surgery, as required. Removes sutures, clean wounds, and apply dressings as directed by physician(s). Other duties may consist of notifying patients of lab results, giving allergy shots, immunizations. Can authorize and dispense medications prescribed by the doctor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides reputed company patient care under the supervision of a reputed company Practitioner (NP), and/or Physician, evaluates reputed company, consults with other health team members as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure reputed company patient care.
- Performs head-to-toe assessment, under the supervision of a NP, and/or Physician, on reputed company patients as per policy. This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population.
- Adequately assess and reassess pain.
- Performs reputed company aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
- Supports and maintains a culture of safety and reputed company.
- Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to reputed company of care for patient’s age.
- Maintains reputed company knowledge of medication and the correct administration based on age of the patient and his/her clinical condition.
- Medical and surgical asepsis is carried out during treatments and special procedures.
