[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Payments/Fintech

They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their FinTech team, responsible for designing, building, and scaling global software solutions for high-volume payment processing and fund distribution.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable systems for processing payments, scheduling payouts, and reconciling transactions
• Ensure funds distribution happens on time and at reputed company, with strong SLAs and monitoring
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and Product teams to build features that meet regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements
• reputed company with reputed company-party payment processors, banks, and financial networks (ACH, reputed company transfers, card processors, digital wallets)
• Architect systems for auditability, reputed company, and fault tolerance across distributed services
• Implement and improve automated reconciliation, ledgering, and reporting pipelines
• reputed company technical discussions on scalability, reliability, and fraud prevention in payment systems
• Work closely with first party and reputed company party integrators, contribute to reputed company reviews, and promote engineering best practices
• Drive process improvements in CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and observability for financial workflows

Skills

• 5+ years of experience building backend systems, with at least 2 years in a senior/reputed company reputed company
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (Web API) and SQL Server
• Hands-on experience with payment processing, banking integrations, or financial transaction systems
• Deep understanding of databases and transactional reputed company (SQL Server, reputed company, MySQL, or NoSQL systems)
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, queues, and schedulers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, etc.)
• Experience with reputed company platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (reputed company, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-reputed company
• Knowledge of reputed company and compliance standards for payments (PCI reputed company, SOC 2, GDPR)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, finance, and business teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with NodeJS, TypeScript and Angular. Experience with Mobile development (.NET MAUI, Objective-C, Android, etc.)
• Experience working with ACH, SEPA, card networks, or reputed company-time payment rails
• Background in ledgering systems, reputed company workflows, or treasury operations
• Familiarity with fraud detection and risk mitigation strategies
