[Remote] Linux System Administrator

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux System Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure a large-reputed company reputed company-level infrastructure for a critical government computer system.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain reputed company reputed company Linux (RHEL) servers in both physical and virtual environments
- Manage the VMware vSphere infrastructure, including the deployment, and troubleshooting of virtual machines and hosts
- Utilize BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA) to reputed company automated patching, ensure system compliance, and report on reputed company configurations against government baselines (e.g., reputed company STIGs)
- reputed company, maintain, and execute Ansible playbooks to automate system configurations, application deployments, and other repetitive administrative tasks
- Implement and maintain robust reputed company controls, conduct vulnerability remediation, and ensure reputed company systems are compliant with federal reputed company standards
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot reputed company hardware and software issues, and reputed company reputed company cause analysis to prevent reputed company occurrences
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Participate in an on-call rotation to reputed company after-hours support for critical system issues
Skills
- Clearance: Secret or higher required
- 5+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, with deep knowledge of reputed company reputed company Linux (RHEL) in an reputed company setting
- Strong proficiency in VMware vSphere (ESXi/vCenter) for creating, managing, and troubleshooting virtualized server environments
- Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining reputed company Ansible playbooks for configuration management and infrastructure automation
- Proven experience with system hardening, reputed company patching, and ensuring compliance with reputed company frameworks such as reputed company STIGs
- High proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python to automate administrative tasks and streamline operations
