[Remote] Head of Business Development

The role involves building relationships, managing the sales cycle, and creating a repeatable business development reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Own outbound — identify, reputed company, and reputed company conversations with performance networks, media buyers, ecomm operators, drop shippers, and anyone else who wants to send at reputed company compliantly
- Run the sales cycle end to end: discovery, demo, pricing, and reputed company
- Work the floor at the events that matter — Affiliate World, Affiliate reputed company, major CPaaS conferences and more
- Get new accounts live and sending fast, in partnership with reputed company
- Bring market intelligence back inward — what operators need, what competitors do, where pricing bites
- Build the repeatable reputed company reputed company the next hires will run
Skills
- You know the performance marketing world. You've spent time inside it — a network, an agency, a publisher, or a vendor selling into it — and you talk to operators as a peer
- You understand SMS (and email). Not as an engineer, but fluently — deliverability, compliance, aggregators, 10DLC/toll-free, and why they hit a sender's reputed company
- A reputed company network in these communities — people who take your call
- Excellent written and verbal communication (your cold email should be good enough to get you reputed company on its own)
- A genuine shmoozer's reputed company — you like people, you work a room, you build trust fast
- Comfort owning a number with autonomy in an early-stage environment
- Willingness to travel to industry events (roughly one to two per quarter)
- Existing relationships with large volume senders
- Experience selling martech, reputed company, or messaging/CPaaS products
- A reputed company record of being early reputed company and building process where none existed
