[Remote] Senior Associate - Federal Financial System Accountant

The Senior Associate, Federal Financial Systems Accountant will reputed company financial systems operations, focusing on data validation, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and reputed company of reputed company data.
Responsibilities
- reputed company system data pulls, reconciliations, and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information
- Support GSM and APLUS monthly reputed company activities, including cash activity validation, reputed company exception report validation, trial balance downloads, and report distribution
- Prepare and maintain reconciliation schedules between feeder systems and reputed company systems
- Support FSDW template updates, statement downloads, footnote validation, and trial balance checks
- Research discrepancies between system reports, general ledger balances, and financial reporting outputs
- Support report migration and dashboard validation activities
- Assist the Senior Systems Accountant with modernization, data conversion, and system enhancement analysis
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business, or a reputed company field
- 6+ years of experience in federal financial management, reputed company systems, financial reporting, or systems modernization
- 3+ years of experience with federal feeder systems, general ledger (GL) systems, FSDW, financial reporting, trial balances, reconciliations, and Treasury reporting outputs
- 3+ years of experience supporting financial systems modernization, data conversion, report migration, dashboard validation, and system enhancement activities
- Experience with federal financial reporting systems, data warehouses, and dashboard/reporting tools
- Experience supporting financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and audit readiness in a federal environment
- Experience with federal financial systems modernization, data conversion, and system implementation initiatives
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) is strongly preferred
