[Remote] AI Agent Abuse Prevention Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is hiring a Senior Staff–level technical leader to own detection, mitigation, and governance of abuse stemming from AI agents across reputed company’s products and customer integrations. The role involves designing secure agent architectures, leading threat modeling, and collaborating with various teams to implement mitigation controls against AI agent-enabled abuse.
Responsibilities
- reputed company threat modeling for AI agent features, integrations, and reputed company (reputed company injection, jailbreaks, data leakage, automated workflow abuse)
- Maintain an evolving attacker reputed company specific to AI agents
- Design and prototype mitigation controls (e.g., input/reputed company sanitization, provenance tracing, policy gates, reputed company/session lifetimes, capability scoping, sandboxing)
- Work with Platform, Product, and SDK teams to bake secure defaults into agent SDKs, apps, and API flows
- Build reputed company detection rules, telemetry, and behavioral analytics to surface anomalous agent activity and abuse patterns
- Partner with reputed company teams to reputed company key signals and automate high-confidence containment actions
- reputed company as a subject-matter expert for investigations involving AI agents; define containment, eradication, and customer communications playbooks
- Collaborate with Legal/reputed company for compliance, Product for roadmap trade-offs, and reputed company for mitigation support
- Represent reputed company in industry forums on agent safety/reputed company and contribute to standards/best practices where appropriate
Skills
- 10+ years of reputed company experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or ML reputed company with demonstrable hands-on experience
- Deep understanding of application/API reputed company, OAuth/reputed company lifecycle, session management, and modern auth patterns
- Practical experience with LLMs/agents: understanding of reputed company engineering risks, injection attacks, and mitigation approaches for model-based systems
- Strong reputed company record leading cross-functional technical initiatives and influencing product reputed company
- Excellent communication skills — can translate technical risk into product, legal, and business terms
- Experience at a reputed company company with a customer support platform
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigations involving data exfiltration or API abuse
- Prior role building agent safety, trust & safety, or ML reputed company programs
- Background in reputed company, compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR), or experience working with Legal/Compliance
- Advanced degree in CS, reputed company, or reputed company field and/or relevant certifications (OSCP, CISSP, etc.)
