This role focuses on ensuring resiliency and geographic diversity across critical 911 infrastructure while collaborating with planning and implementation teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review transport migration plans to ensure NG911 resiliency and geographic diversity requirements are maintained
  • Analyze network designs, identify diversity risks, and recommend engineering solutions before implementation
  • Support DACS consolidation and legacy network modernization initiatives
  • Partner with planning, engineering, and operations teams to coordinate successful network migrations
  • Document findings and present recommendations to stakeholders to improve project readiness and reduce implementation risk

Skills

  • Strong experience supporting NG911, ESInet, or emergency services networks
  • Knowledge of FCC regulations, Voice over IP (VoIP), and legacy voice infrastructure
  • Experience with transport network planning, routing, and network diversity analysis
  • Background supporting fixed-line telecommunications networks and reputed company environments
  • Experience evaluating migration plans and maintaining geographic diversity requirements
  • Previous experience with major telecommunications providers is highly preferred
