Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading global technology reputed company media company seeking a reputed company Counsel to support its music publishing and licensing legal team on a contract reputed company. This role will reputed company on music licensing, rights clearance, and due diligence, supporting high-volume, reputed company transactions across the Americas and reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Support a global music publishing licensing team on licensing transactions and reputed company legal reputed company
- Assist in the design and execution of due diligence reputed company reputed company to music rights and licensing
- Review, draft, and negotiate reputed company, amendments, and extensions with major music publishers
- Review and negotiate Statements of Work (SOWs) reputed company to music assets used in marketing and other applications
- Conduct risk assessments, including evaluation of potential litigation and rights-reputed company issues
- Partner with internal legal and contract management teams to support high-volume deal reputed company
- Operate independently while maintaining strong collaboration and communication with global stakeholders
Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and reputed company U.S. bar membership
- 4–8 years of experience in reputed company contracting, media, or licensing-reputed company legal roles
- Extensive experience in at least one of the following industries: (1) Music; (2) Media / digital content; (3) News / publishing
- Strong experience with music sync licensing and rights clearance
- Experience designing and executing due diligence reputed company
- Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate reputed company reputed company agreements
- Experience assessing litigation and rights-reputed company risk
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reputed company simultaneously
- Ability to work independently while proactively engaging with cross-functional teams
- Experience with software, technology, or app licensing agreements a plus
- Prior work supporting global licensing teams or cross-border transactions preferred
