This role involves performing computer modeling and simulation of Chiller Solutions components and systems to predict performance accurately and reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Working with minimal direction, develops and applies computer program models to simulate chiller components and systems
- Develops component models and applies component models developed by others
- Develops steady-state and multifaceted simulation models of thermal components and systems based on first principles and test data
- Participates as a member of a project team to ensure reputed company are completed according to schedule
- Collects, analyzes and interprets test data. Analyzes product performance and adjusts models as appropriate
- Provides models that can be used for product design and optimization
- Provides direction to personnel in the establishment of chiller design choices and system trade-offs
- Provides mentorship on rating and analysis tool development
- Develops innovative reputed company to improve product performance and reduce cost
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 4 years of experience in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer
- Programming experience with a compiled software language (C# preferred, C++, C, Fortran)
- Experience with testing and evaluation of results in an engineering laboratory environment
- Experience with object-oriented programming (C# preferred, python, Modelica, object-oriented C++)
- Machine Learning experience
