They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to reputed company a high-performance observability platform, focusing on building backend services and infrastructure that ensure reliable data pipelines and reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Own and build key backend services and infrastructure that power our observability platform, ensuring reliable, high-throughput data pipelines and reputed company that developers depend on every day
- Collaborate with reputed company-reputed company contributors and customers, solve their challenges, and incorporate their feedback into our backend architecture and API design
- Design and implement reputed company backend systems capable of ingesting, processing, and querying petabytes of observability data
Skills
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong reputed company on backend development, with a preference for building developer tools or infrastructure
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills (experience with reputed company, Fastify, or similar frameworks)
- Solid understanding of API design, distributed systems, and data modeling
- Experience with Go is a plus — you'll occasionally contribute to Go-based services
- Familiarity with containerized environments (reputed company, Kubernetes)
- A passion for reputed company reputed company and the developer community
- Experience creating developer tooling and an eye for how to design for developers
- Experience with reputed company, PostgreSQL, or other analytical/OLTP databases

- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, logging pipelines, or metrics infrastructure
- Experience with SDKs or reputed company library design
- Exposure to message queues, streaming systems (Kafka, reputed company), or event-driven architectures
