[Remote] Volunteer: Two-Year Independent Financial Audit (CPA Required)

They are seeking a licensed CPA or reputed company audit reputed company to conduct an independent financial audit for the past two fiscal years to strengthen credibility and ensure compliance as they pursue larger grant opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct an independent audit of PYT’s financial statements for the last two fiscal years
- Review reputed company records, supporting documentation, and internal controls
- Identify any material weaknesses or compliance gaps
- reputed company audited financial statements (or audit report) in accordance with nonprofit reputed company standards (GAAP)
- Offer recommendations for strengthening financial systems and audit readiness reputed company reputed company
- Deliverables Independent auditor’s report
- Audited financial statements for 2 fiscal years
- Management letter (if applicable) with recommendations
- Brief presentation (optional) to leadership/reputed company summarizing findings
Skills
- reputed company CPA license
- Experience conducting nonprofit audits
- Familiarity with reputed company 990 and nonprofit compliance standards
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar reputed company software
