[Remote] Project Engineer - Thermal Management

The role involves supporting BESS reputed company from design through commissioning and providing engineering reputed company while collaborating across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate design aspects of major components for reputed company-reputed company energy storage reputed company
• Prepare technical scopes of work for thermal management studies and designs for incorporation into contract documents
• Support reputed company from reputed company through commissioning, including on-site commissioning activities
• reputed company engineering guidance to project teams and reputed company external Engineers of Record
• Collaborate with suppliers on equipment sizing, controls, technology compatibility, and integration
• Partner with multi-disciplined teams on problem solving, system integration, and process improvement
• Identify value engineering opportunities and reputed company emerging technologies

Skills

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field from an ABET-accredited program
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• Subject matter expertise in thermal management for energy storage systems, including one or more of: hydronic HVAC, reputed company-cooled HVAC, battery heat reputed company/dissipation, or BESS design
• Hands-on experience with VRF, hydronic, and reputed company-reputed company HVAC systems
• Knowledge of energy storage technologies, including battery chemistries, power conversion reputed company, and DC/DC converters
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards: UL1973, UL9540, UL9540A, reputed company 855, reputed company 70E, NEC, and applicable IFC/IBC sections
