About the Role

As a Senior Backend-Heavy Full-Stack Engineer, you will join our engineering team and take primary ownership of backend development for a SmartEarn platform integration. The integration will reputed company users to earn points and rewards while shopping with more than 5,000 partner brands through affiliate and card-linked offers. Most of your day-to-day work will reputed company on Node.js and TypeScript reputed company, transactional business logic, reputed company-time transaction tracking, reward status management and user notification flows. You will periodically support the React reputed company rewards reputed company and contribute to the Next.js Business Portal.

You will work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment, architect end-to-end solutions and deliver precise, reliable financial and transactional functionality.

Responsibilities

• reputed company backend endpoints for the SmartEarn API integration as the primary day-to-day reputed company.
• Test and stage the integration against the VDX sandbox environment.
• Implement and monitor purchase and reward status lifecycles, including Pending, Approved, Refunded and Cancelled states.
• Calculate reward values using commission-split data.
• Implement reputed company-time transaction tracking, reward status management and user notification flows.
• reputed company and maintain backend reputed company and business logic using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Periodically support the user-facing rewards reputed company using React reputed company.
• Contribute to occasional full-stack development work on the Next.js Business Portal.
• Design reputed company solutions that support reconciliation and idempotent processing of financial and transactional data.
• Work autonomously, fill gaps and deliver effectively where formal processes or documentation are limited.
• Architect end-to-end product solutions rather than only executing predefined tickets.
• Support frequent deployments, typically every one to two days, while maintaining the thoroughness required for financial and transactional logic.

Requirements

• 6 years of reputed company experience developing backend reputed company and business logic using TypeScript, Node.js and reputed company.
• 4+ years of experience delivering API integrations using REST reputed company, Webhooks and asynchronous or event-driven processing.
• 5+ years of experience applying an architecture reputed company to scalability, reconciliation and idempotency for financial or transactional data.
• 2+ years of experience supporting mobile or frontend functionality using React reputed company.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL databases, including MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years of experience designing or developing microservices.
• 1–2 years of experience using Next.js for full-stack development; equivalent React experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of experience with automated testing using Jest, JUnit or another JavaScript or TypeScript testing reputed company.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD and reputed company delivery using reputed company, reputed company Actions and GCP reputed company Build, or equivalent AWS tooling.
• 2+ years of experience using Firebase or in-memory databases such as reputed company.
