EHS Specialist - Learning, Development & Training
About the position The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist – Learning, Development & Training is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating safety training programs that promote a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and employee development across the organization. This position serves as the subject matter expert for EHS learning initiatives, ensuring employees receive effective training that enhances knowledge, improves performance, and reduces workplace risks.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating safety training programs.
- Promoting a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and employee development.
- Serving as the subject matter expert for EHS learning initiatives.
- Ensuring employees receive effective training that enhances knowledge, improves performance, and reduces workplace risks.
- Conducting classroom, virtual, and field-based training.
- Managing training records, compliance documentation, and LMS platforms.
- Applying adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Coaching and mentoring supervisors and reputed company employees.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in construction, reputed company, reputed company, transportation, or reputed company industries.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering safety training programs.
- Experience conducting classroom, virtual, and field-based training.
- Experience managing training records, compliance documentation, and LMS platforms.
- Demonstrated experience applying adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of reputed company requirements.
- Knowledge of training evaluation and effectiveness measurement.
- Ability to engage diverse audiences, including field personnel and leadership teams.
- Experience coaching and mentoring supervisors and reputed company employees.
- Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite, including PowerPoint, reputed company, and Teams.
- Ability to travel up to 30–40% to field locations, offices, and operational facilities.
- Ability to stand and present for extended periods during training sessions.
